Skills in Practice
In Cerebro, every skill was born from doing something manually enough times to justify encoding it:
- creation-guard runs before any new skill or agent gets built. It searches everything that already exists, finds overlaps, and recommends: proceed, extend, compose, or stop. Governance in thirty seconds.
- log-to-daily captures what happened in a working session and writes it to the day’s note. Small skill, but the vault’s memory stays current without manual journalling.
- ecosystem-health audits the entire system for drift --- skills referencing agents that got renamed, broken configurations, documentation that no longer matches reality.
- the-antislop detects and fixes AI-generated writing patterns. It doesn’t just flag problems --- it edits the file directly, reporting what changed and why.
Over 100 skills, each one born from repetition. Skills are where individuals start seeing daily value from AI --- not through agents or automations, but through reliable procedures that save time on repeated tasks.
